Yestival! ...'Sure you can't say no!

Welcome to the Bike Yestival! We are launching Bike Week 2012 with a host of fantastic events on Dublin's most newly designed street, Fade Street, a great city centre location. The aim of the Bike Yestival is to celebrate the exploding cycle culture that has grabbed our nation and be inspired by innovative bicycle-related projects. The street will be closed for the day to be transformed into a festival of everything bike-related. The Bike Yestival will feature a cycle-generated music stage with singer Luka Bloom and many other artists. Bike-fixing workshops will be on offer and Fade Street businesses will be hosting bicycle films. In addition to this there will be cycle-powered smoothies, a bike Museum. a vintage bike and fashion show and an expo for Dublin's great bicycle shops. There will be something for everyone whether you ride a Penny Farthing or a high-speed fixie.

There will be a 'Slow Race'. At last, a competitive event at which I can excel.
