washer problem

i've a whirlpool 6th sense washing machine if i select a wash it just keeps cycling the drain pump and the door doesn't lock the drain system is working fine -there's no blockages i think maybe i had the power washer running while washing-dunno if that caused it any ideas? thanks

It was the door interlock
