    Hi guys

Hope you can help me out here. I've MV2 18 set in my car and running RFT 245\40\18 all sides. I want to change the tyres with normal and was thinking to go with 245/45/18 all side this time. My question is will they fit to MV2 sets? Will I get the rubbing or some people say Speedo accuracy will be affected too?

    Wheel Size / Offset: 8Jx18 ET20

Please help me out in this to finalise what size I should go for.

Have a look at your drivers side door sill...it will list the tyre sizes compatible with your car.

Hi Blazer thanks for reply but that will not work as the current alloys I've are 18" and in car it says 17". So there is no info on 18" there.

How did you end up with runflats on an E39? Second hand alloys or tyres? Are the alloys you got runflat alloys?

Hi Nissan Doctor when I bought this car they were on this with RFT but I feel ride is very hard and bumpy with these tyres. This is the reason I wanted to go to normal tyres on this. I thought about to go to 17" but didn’t convenience myself to compromise in the looks of the car what comes with these 18" MV2 so I decided to go to normal tyres.

Sounds like you already have the wrong size tyres fitted, dont use these as a benchmark. Also dont put 245s on all round. Found out what 17" its spec'd for then get something thats within 2% of the overall rolling diameter (which could be 16 or 18 or whatever as a long as diameter is close to stock).

Why are you looking to goto to 45 profile from a 40 profile when you clearly dont seem to understand the numbers!?
