We have submitted and recieved planning for a house with stone on the front. However we are now thinking of just plastering the whole house. Will this be a problem?

Get your arch to submit revised elevations, your planner will inform you of whether its ok or if a further submission is required

I think this will be a problem. The first condition of any planning permission is that you comply with the drawings submitted, save any changed that were made before the decision was made or changes made via conditions. by plastering, you will be in breach of this condition and may run into trouble at a later date. I think it may be worth sticking something in to the planning dept as you have nothing to loose, however, strickly speaking you are not going to be in compliance and the planners will recognise this and advise accordingly. If the planners dont let you change (which i dont think they will) you could apply for permission to alter the granted design. good luck.
