I'm sitting my leaving cert in irish, but I don't want to do history in irish because im fooked for it with the terminology. Is there any penalty for taking the test through english?

You just don't get the bonus marks for sitting it in Irish

Just be careful you don't only get the Irish language option delivered to your school.
