Addicted to porn

I've been dealing with an addiction to porn personally for years. It comes and goes in waves whereby I can go for months without viewing or using porn and then it will take over my life for a period and then subside again.

This has now destroyed my relationship and my family. I need help as i can't do this on my own.

Does anyone know of any support groups or something. I'm not sure if a "normal" counseller (if there is such a thing) can help me as i feel i need something/someone more specialised with this type of addiction.

any help or advice is appreciated.

Are you still seeing the therapist you were seeing in December? Did you discuss your addiction with them?

I think your best bet is to look up counselling/addiction facilities in your area and call them to see if they can help with your specific addiction/you think you'd be able to work with.

Info on getting a therapist that best suits you/your needs in the link HERE.

I'm looking at way too much myself. It's better in small doses, like everything else.
