I went up to the farm where i've been shooting rabbits yesterday evening, and when I got there i met the lad that owns the place. He asked me if I was going for a shot, and I said I was and asked him if he wanted to come for the laugh. So off we went, chatting about the price of milk coming down, the price of cattle being so good, when we were thinking about cutting silage, and other general farming stuff. I spotted the first bunny, couldn't take a prone shot, so I shot kneeling off the stick, bang flop about 50 yards, then he spotted a lad under the far ditch. I ranged it at 140, dialled up 1moa, zoom, focus, put the crosshairs on his head and smack he went down. The farmer said "Jesus dec you ****in peeled him, that was some shot". Next I shot a small rabbit at about 30 yards freehand, and as we were coming back to the yards the farmer spotted a rabbit at about 70 yards. I couldn't take a prone or kneeling shot, so I extended the sticks, and shot him standing. I saw a rabbit running off to the right, and the farmer said "how the feck did he get up after that, I saw him fall" I said nothing and waited for the rabbit to stop running, then at about 90 yards put the crosshairs on the back of his head and squeezed the trigger. I said to the farmer, "come on and look at this" so we walked over and he couldn't believe it when he saw 2 dead rabbits about 20 yards apart. He said "good man dec you're fu**ing peeling the c#nts, keep up the good work" so now he's happy because he's seeing a big improvement in the grass and a big decrease in rabbit numbers. I haven't any pics because i didnt want to take any when he was with me

Well done lad. There is nothing like shooting a few in front of the man that gave the permission. He can rest easy knowing it is in capable hands now.
