Auto space - Galaxy Mini

I have a Samsung Galaxy Mini and when texting it puts spaces in where I don't want them, like an auto spacer. It's not randomly in the middle of texting, it's when I pick a word or letter from the line up - then it puts a space after the word or letter I've chosen.

Anyone know if this can be turned off? I can't seem to find it anywhere in the settings.

I must be looking in the wrong place because there's nothing in the input settings about the auto space. Can ya give me a step by step, if ya don't mind :D
