    Red Cow Three Murders
    Edwin Hughes - Drumcondra (17)
    Brendan Holohan - Drumcondra (17)
    Joseph Rogers- Drumcondra (16)

    Hello I am doing some research on a Civil War incident (1922) that happened
    in the local area (Dublin 3). This is for a TV Documentary. Three youths
    handing leaflets on Clonliffe Road - picked up Charley Dalton and found dead
    the next day shot in the head.....

    =========================================
    Holohan Family 1911
    =============================================
    The head of the family (1911) Michael J Holohan aged 44, and was originally from Galway, but moved to Dublin and lived in Clontarf and Drumcondra on the NORTH SIDE of Dublin City circa 1911. He was married to Delia

    They had 4 children, Eammon, Brendan, Dermot and Una. We have traced Eammon Holohan, he died (early 1970's) and resided in Terenure and worked in Clery's shoe department up to the 1950's

    Their son Brendan (16) was murdered during the Civil War by anti treaty troops in 1922 arrested for handing out handing out republican poster on Clonliffe Road.

    We wish to speak to relative of the above or to people that might have
    any information on the incident

    Thank You

    The forum is for public discussion, not recruitment.
    A discussion on these events would be welcome but a request for volunteers is not. PM me if you wish to discuss this.
