Are all 12 gauge chokes universal?

    Can you say put a berretta choke into a browning or visa versa? I have only ever shot with fixed chokes and i couldnt give my friend an answer when he asked me.

    No they are not universal.
    Some may work that way but most are made to suit a certain gun. They can be longer or shorter and have different number of threads, different thread pitch etc.

    No, even within brands there are differences in chokes.

    Also, you may wish to go to cabelas.com, find your gun, and if there's an interchangeable choke, they will usually state such. For example, they'll say Browning Invector type.
