long distance wiring

hi.
i would like to place a cat 6 cable over a road connecting two houses.
i will use a tensioned steel wire hold up the cat 6 cable. i have a wire tension er.
my question is how will i join the wire to
1. a normal 2story house. about 20 years old.
2. a very old building, the walls are made of stone and are about 2 feet thick.
