I just heard on the news that Darce is retiring from test rugby.

I know there are a fair few here who will be thinking "About time".
(I'm not one of these....)

But can we leave this aside.

What are your highlights from Gordon D'Arcy's International Career?

There are many, but for me the one that sticks out is his try more or less under the posts beating Scotland in the 6N for a Triple Crown.

The year he won Player of the Tounament I think.

I was right behind the posts.

Subline Cente and for me up there with BOD when at his peak!

Now we (Leinster) can keep him all to ourselves

Unless D'Arcy took a battering in the HEC final, he's going nowhere. Geordan Murphy has announced his retirement from International Rugby.

D'Arcy surely couldn't, after only signing a 2 year central contract weeks ago!

Would be happy enough for the Mods to close this post if it's Geordan (from Leicester) rather than Gordon (from Leinster).

Yep, but then he came out of retirement sorta.

Something along the lines of 'I'm not going to bust my gut to get to squad sessions outside the international windows and I'm not going to join up with the squad if I am not going to be involved or anything like that but if you want me to start during the six nations give me a phone call and I'll come'
