Toddler-friendly campsites near Roscoff or Cherbourg?

...within a couple of hours drive...we don't want to spend too long driving once we get to France.
Will be travelling with a 1 year old and a 3 year old.
Would like the campsite to be toddler friendly.
Plan on staying in a mobile home and travelling mid-July. Flexible as to which port we come into (Roscoff or Cherbourg) as there is still availability on both ferry crossings.
Just looking for recommendations on camp sites please?
We would also like to be able to walk from the site to a beach or town or both.
    Thanks in advance

    Take a look here: http://www.camping-aux4saisons.com
Closer to Roscoff than Cherbourg, and is child friendly.

We spent 10 days here a couple of years ago :

Loved it, 20 minutes from the ferry at Roscoff, thought it was a well run site.

Went to La Grande Meterie near Carnac 2 years ago for three weeks.
    Fantastic campsite and very childfriendly
Its about 2.5 hours from the port but well worth the drive.

This is a lovely, very child friendly campsite at the base of the Cotentin Peninsula (Cherbourg). http://welcome.lez-eaux.com/

Its also closeish to Bayeux and the D-Day Beaches and also Mont St. Michel.

The pitches are very spacious and the facilities are great.

We stayed in this site 2 years ago with our 2 young kids and we all loved it...

It's called "la Pointe St Gilles" in a place called Benodet. About a 2.5 hour drive from Roscoff.

Thanks very much. We might go to this one next year. Booked one a little further north for this year. Thanks for the suggestion though-it looks fab!

Hi Folks. I'm going to France for the 1st time and will be driving from Roscoff to La Point St. Gilles, in Benodet. Quite anxious about not only finding my way there but driving on the right hand side also so was hoping to get some feedback from anyone who has done this journey. How the drive / roads are and a realistic travel time. (It seems to vary from 1.5 to 2.5 hours online).

Any feedback would be a great help & much appreciated!
