    Hi
Can someone please suggest a download or something that I can use to watermark photos... I have one (iwatermark) for my ipad but this keeps crashing when I try to upload more than one photo.

I would prefer to use something for windows that will allow me to do them in a batch

    Any suggestions grateful :)

There's a program called "Fast Watermark". Does what it says on the tin (it's very efficient) but it doesn't create copies, so you have to make copies of your photos before watermarking them (or risk accidentally watermarking the originals).

FastOne Photo Resizer will do the job for you.

I've tried them both and TBH I can't figure out either one very easily :(

How do I change the watermark on "Fast stone photo resizer"?

    :confused::confused::confused:

If you can't watermark your photos then you probably don't even need to.

Really don't think there was need for that comment.

I use Fast Stone but never for a watermarking effort. Usually for cropping or bulk renaming.

Fast Watermark is fairly simple, just open a folder/picture from your desktop and they appear in a list. Double click on the photo and then just pick where you want your watermark to appear.

I'd make sure you're resizing the photos first, though. Fast Watermark is a pain in the ass if it's the full size image as it's difficult to figure out where the hell the watermark is. A resized down image (1200 or 800 pixels on the longest side works for me) is usually simple though.

If you have photoshop, you could create an action to do it.

Yup, I have re-sized the photos and when i go to the watermark section a standard watermark name appears. I am having trouble in removing this and replacing it with the one i want (which is just a name and the copyright symbol)

    I'll keep trying...thanks though :)

I really don't think there's a need to make your photos look worse with a copyright symbol.

Ah right now I get it.. this is your "thing" Judging by most of your previous posts you seem to enjoy posting negative useless comments ...

I'm just giving my opinion. I wouldn't call it negative or useless. Nobody likes to see ugly copyright symbols and water marks on photos. I was being a bit judgemental with my first comment. A large number of people who put water marks on their images don't need to and it takes away from the image. That's the truth.

To be fair, effects, he wasn't asking for anyone's opinion on it. He was just asking for a program capable of doing it.

Though that said, Pink, when Effects said "your photos look worse", I don't think he meant you specifically (just people's photos in a general sense). I could be wrong, though.

Anyway, with regards to fast watermark, I don't think you can get the Copyright 'C' logo in it.

Apparently iWatermark can take PNGs and drop them onto the photo (so if you've a logo or such). I never did figure out how to do it, but I've been told it's easy enough.

Personally, I just slapped a font together on cooltext.com, saved it as a PNG and made a photoshop action, and that's been working for me for most of my stuff (not much use if you've not got photoshop, though, obviously?).

Yeah, see, I think Pink took that as a personal dig against him, from you.

Though I'm no mind reader, so... Who knows.
