I opened the bonnet today and theres a noise coming from this part of the engine, ( with the red circle) its like its leaking air or something , making a flapping noise, any ideas?, It seems to be low on coolant as well - would that be related to the problem?

It's not electric on your car.

As George said yours is not electric if its the 1.9tdi model i thought yours was a 2.0 litre. Its possible that a pipe has come off or its gunked up with carbon either way you would notice the car down on power.

Thanks George, noticed that today when I had a closer look - would it be a seal or would the whole unit be gone, the distinctive sound is around the 13sec mark on this video

thanks Kildare lad, its down a bit on power - lumpy idle as well, that may be the reason.
