Are there any emulators for an iPhone 4s that isn't jailbroken? I was specifically looking for the GameBoy colour and original Playstation. I've looked online but can't find anything that doesn't involve jailbreaking and I can't check the app store because I don't have any I devices.

    Quick answer: No :(
Do you really think that Apple would take the risk of legal action for supporting people using illegal ROMs? If you are planning on getting an iPhone it really is not that difficult to jailbreak. You could go for a mid end android like the Xperia Play either. I have one and I can smoothly run n64 emulators

Thought why anyone would even attempt to play older games on a touchscreen is beyond me. You *need* buttons.

    "Androido what Appledon't" :D

But in all seriousness I hope you find a workaround (don't suppose you've a PSP? Tons of emulators for that and it wouldn't use your phones battery up either). When I'm running emulators on an Android phone the touchscreen can be a frustrating substitute for a joypad at times. It's fine for turn based strategy say but it really interferes when you need fine timing, fast responses and complex controls.

I can't imagine pulling off some of the more complicated special moves in say Street Fighter 2 on a touchscreen.
But Something like Shining Force? Probably no problems whatsoever. And the Story of Thor/Beyond Oasis goes back and forth like a metronome between the two.

I have emulators on my phone, psp and laptop. My cousin was asking about them but she only has an iPhone and a DS. She won't jailbreak it, I can't remember why but she did have a reason.

Ah. That's fair enough, it would affect the warranty and maybe interfere with iOS updates.

When you posted this there was only tethered jailbreak out for latest firmwares, since then though all current jailbreaks on all firmwares are untethered.
Jailbreaking shouldn't void your warranty, you'll just need to restore it if returning it to apple and there will be absolutely no way of telling its ever been done
