I'd hazard a guess that a 30 waist is going to be a size small.

Tried a couple at the cycle super store last year. Sizing was small but more importantly if you are not an athletic build they probably will not suit. They certainly did not suit my shape :pac:

Bib shorts are sized on height, not waist

Cycle Super Store have a promo on Look Heritage kit if that's any use to you

    http://www.cyclesuperstore.ie/shop/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=197&idproduct=52580

There's also a jersey on offer.

Interested in them myself, but based on previous comments about athletic body required and tight fit etc., I may give them a miss!

Wouldn't agree .I have Look ultra bibs and jersey and they are the best cycling clothes I have ever bought .I wouldn't be what you would call an athletic build either.

For the OP I am 36 waist 6ft and I got the xl bib in CSS.

Since the introduction of lycra into cycle clothing, I'm not sure that any of it flatters the less than athletic figure. Perhaps we need to get Trinny and Susannah to provide a range of "suck you in" bib shorts! I'm built for comfort as opposed to speed, but I still bought a set. They are "continental" sized which for me means adding one size to what passes for my "normal" size - yet another blow to my fast diminishing ego.
