Razorock

Whilst it might sound like a bad Scandinavian thrash metal band, its a range of products from a small Italian factory with a good history in shaving soaps.
Has anyone given them a try?

It looks like they have a few ranges/collections, the latest being the Family collection. Initial reviews seem good, especially from fans of the likes of Cella Nd the old P160.

I see Chris on shaving.ie has the European stock and italianbarber.com the N. American. Italian Barber has slashed the price on launch to under 4 dollars for a Cella sized tub. Shipping will probably make it more cost effective for most of us to buy local.

MadsL, if you can get cheap shipping from Italian Barber I'd recommend a punt.
I've a couple of tubs in the post and will add my thoughts when've had a chance to try.

There is also a range of matching AS balms.

I've actually wanted to pick up some Razorock for a while now, but I'm trying to reduce the amount of creams/soaps I have not buy more. Also the fact that there were no European distributors of it was a hindrance.

I'm interested to hear what you think about them. What ones did you buy?

Like yourself I need more soap as much as I need rust on a razor blade.
I ordered the sandalwood and the Cumba Cheech OB & Jasmine.
I also stuck in one of the Razorock alum sticks on the order.

I'd already ordered more of the hard soaps from Nannys Silly soaps over the weekend so I was already pushing it ordering Razorock.

The Cumba Cheech really caught my attention when I read the scent description so I definitely want to hear thoughs on that.

I think I have 6 or 7 open creams at the moment and probably the same amount of soaps (not to mention the box full of stuff I've yet to touch) so I dont think I be ordering anything for a while.

Well maybe a new strop :D

Delivery arrived yesterday, not bad shipping time from Canada.
Have only managed the one shave with the soaps so am only posting a brief and initial thoughts.

Soap is packaged in very similar tub to the small red tub of Cella.
Lathers easily and no problems with protection or skin care.

The Cumba Cheech is a sweet orange smell, probably due to the jasmine adding the sweet smell. I find the smell pleasant, reminds me of the orange small you'd find in orange flavoured sweets and chewing gum from the 1980s. Sure is different from the usual almond or woody scents.

Thanks for the info on it. I'm a big fan of citrus scents so I will definitely be ordering that when I put my order in.

Still got to work my way through the backlog of stuff first though *sigh*

Shaving.ie now has the Cumba Cheech in stock.

If you're looking for a great citrus soap, I seriously recommend one of the lime or lemon and lime from here
    http://www.nannyssillysoap.com/ps/category.php?id_category=10
Probably the best range of soaps and creams I've tried.
