I notice on the rent allowance form, it says you,ll need photo id.
Where would i get photo id,does it need to be checked in a garda station or verified by some other witness.
I heard there,s a photo id, machine in the cie office on O,connell street.
The form says, you need a rent book, does this mean a rent book from,
    a previous landlord,
or the new landlord who has offered you a new flat.ie the flat you just moved into.
I,m Looking for a new flat,so i want to make sure and hand all the documents ready before i apply for rent allowance.

You need photo I.D. such as your passport/driving licence, not just photo's of yourself. And your rent book/lease from the property you are looking to rent
