Chair won't slide back and forward on Renault Scenic

The driver chair is stuck on our Scenic, won't move up and down its sliders.

I've tried going at the mechanism, checking that nothing is lodged in the sliders etc but nothing working.
I'm contemplating trying to take the entire seat out and was wondering this is a big job and what trouble I'm likely to run into?

Not a big job but could be tricky given that the seat won't slide, the fixings may be obscured. Think you'll need a torx head or something for the bolts! Also look our for airbag wiring.

What year is yours? WD-40 did good job in the past, if it fails, as someone mentioned look out for the cables, as there is airbag sensor wire under the seat.
