mortgage interest relief ?

hi all, im just wondering if this 30% mortgage interest relief for first time buyers who purchased during 2004 - 2008 has been applied? we bought our home in 2006 and i haven't noticed any difference in our monthly repayments? Also how much extra is it worth for someone like me with approx 300k left to pay on the mortgage?…

yeah i saw that alright, im just wondering if it has been applied? i thought that I read somewhere that there was a problem with it being implemented and there was a delay because of this, and as a result im asking has the 30% been applied? If there has been a delay is it it likely that this will be back dated to the start of the year?
any info on this would be great

Ring your mortgage provider and they will be able to tell you straight away if they have gotten notification from revenue.

i had a similar thread up recently and ulster bank apparently are starting in june, still havent recieved anything myself...some of the banks have started i think...
