visa for thailand : divemaster!

Hi there
I am planning to go do my divemaster in thailand this summer which should take about two months....so ill need a visa of some sort. Does anyone know what i need to do? i know the tourist visa allows 30 day stay so would i have to go to the embassy to extend this when i arrive? or could the people im doing my divemaster with do anything about it? anyone done the divemaster in thailand? cheers!

Apply for a tourist visa at the thai consulate in dublin, A tourist visa will allow you to stay in thailand for 60 days, if you need need more time after that you can go to any immigration office for an extension, they will allow an extension of another 30 days for 1,900 Baht,

So best to get a tourist visa and it will be good for 60+30=90 days for a 1 entry.

Tourist visa in Thailand is 60 days, Apply within 90 days of your departure, Best to apply six weeks before your departure, only take a week to get your passport back... Make sure you send all the requirement they need, Two passport size photo, Register envelope with your address , application form filled, postal order of Tourist Visa fee(cheque not accept).

i just got my passport back with my triple entry that visa, 60x3 = 180 days, but i will need to leave the country & re-enter every 60 days.
