Realistically, you can find all the information you need for these products online so all you are really paying for is the presentation and structure of that information. I'm not saying thats worthless but is it worth the €120 its charging? Thats up to you?

Sort of off topic but did you know groupon typically take a whopping 50% of the voucher price themselves.

e.g. gourmet burger had €20 worth of food for €10. So groupon are taking €5 and the burger place only gets €5.

Groupon makes money by keeping approximately half the money the customer pays for the coupon

This is worth knowing for somethings. Like can you really expect a good half price dental crown, when the dentist is really only getting 25%?

On items like the one posted they often greatly over-inflate/exaggerate the original supposed price to lure people in. Check comparable prices first.

I was asking the company about details of the course and they emailed me saying I can buy that same deal directly from them so maybe they're trying to cut out the middle man

I'd expect a further discount so, seeing as how groupon were going to get 50% of the price they can easily knock off more.

Its sort of annoying to know they get so much, I got a few vouchers for local takeaways and was thinking "well they are still making a decent profit", but some might be making a loss when they really only are getting ~25%. You are also probably more likely to get less of a portion or whatever.

The other companies are probably undercutting groupon.
