Hoover washing machine putting stains on whites

    I have a Hoover top loader 6kg washing machine which is putting stains on light coloured clothes.

    The products I use to soak white things are bleach and Napisan (I live in Australia). Sometimes I use Borax.

    When these stains get on the fabrics, they never come off.

    This has only recently started to happen. I have been using this washing machine for about a year with no problems so I think that this could be to do with cleaning out a filter? There is a filter in the middle of the machine I clean out sometimes.
