hey everyone, not sure if this is the correct place to post but anyway, ive been asked to put together a playlist for a party on my ipad, finding it hard to think of all the party starters and ones that keep most people dancing, any suggestions would be much appriecated.!

Are you doing this as a favour for friends? There's a few factors to consider with this,Whats the age group? where are they from? whats the occasion?

Would it not be a better idea to ask those arranging the party and/or those invited to the party what kind of music they like/want. You could find yourself getting suggestions on here that may not suit your crowd, it would be a bit of a disaster if your armed with a few GB's of Trance or Techno or Drum n Bass and the party goers are waiting to hear some 'David Guetta' type pop music (I use that term loosely).

017.gif .......wondering if ipad is the name of your boat?

Erm well it's mainly 20-30 age bracket with a few golden oldies too but wouldn't worry too much about them....I was thinking stuff like maniac 2000 as its gets everyone going but I want a good mix of new and older stuff....it's for an after party music has been pretty much been let up to me.

No matter what you play, a point will come when you are asked for this:

That's when the party will truly get going. You know this to be true even if you wish it were otherwise.
