High idle emissions NCT failure

Just wondering if anybody had any thoughts or recommendation of where to go.
My 02 Mondeo recently failed the NCT retest on high idle emissions.
I did they whole dipetane thing before the retest and while it brought all emissions into a pass area for low idle the CO and HC emissions increased on high idle.
The cat and the O2 sensor were changed two years back and I had hoped to get a bit longer out of them than that.

Any recommendations on where I could go that wont tell me I need a lot more doing to the car than I actually need and rip me off.
I am in north Dublin city.
    Thanks in advance.

Could be burning oil, is it the 1.8/2.0?

Brother just failed his retest on his 01 Vectra for the same reason, he seems abit pissed atm, i would be too driving 1 hour to Ballinasloe and 1 hour back.

Needs a new cat im pretty sure

Was the correct oil used during its life/was it driven hard/high mileage???

All these factors could cause it to burn oil.

Thats not what I wanted to hear but thanks anyhow.
Is it odd that the HC and CO emissions increased on high idle while all the other ones went down after putting dipetane in.

Anyone recommend a good place to go for a cat replacement if this is indeed the problem.

Can you put up the results of both tests.

Yea OP im not saying you need a new cat but brother does as he failed test and retest on same thing, you might get away with some fuel additive and some hard driving or something similar.
