Terios or Jimny?

I had my mind made up that I was going to get a Jimny but then I saw the Terios. That has a 1.3 engine too and now I'm back to being undecided. It having 5 doors, a bigger boot and the potential to hold another person in the back has me thinking it's a smarter option. I've read a few good reviews but one bad review said it shrieks at 100km and is awful for comfort, that was a 99 model though so I could be luckier? Anyone have one and care to dispel the myths that I've read?

Either of them don't make sense as a road car.

    Neither, not in a fit

Just realised where I posted it, thanks for moving it.
I'm vertically challenged so seeing over the bonnet of my older cars has been a challenge. I had a Jimny before & the visibility was great, pretty much what I'd expect a taller person gets from a standard car :p
So, given that my choices are these two or a Pajero Jr, what would you recommend?

A Suzuki ignis will do the same thing without being a jeep

Yaris also has a high driving position

Thanks for that, haven't checked the Ignis out. Not a fan of the Yaris, I felt it was the same as the micra.
What's wrong with it being a jeep?

I find them rubbish to drive, they're not especially good on fuel, not exactly safe

Subjective, but I think they look a bit silly too

The Honda Jazz has a high driving position also or even the Ford Fusion.

Just what Colm said - they're not a nice drive - thrashy at speed, rolly polly, not economical and tiring to go any distance in. A car may be a better choice, unless you really need 4wd(which you might?)
