new car key for a seat??

    i'm after doing the stupid thing today and after loosing the key to my car while out walking. i have seen on this thread but not for 4 years about this but wondering if prices have changed.

    looking for the main key for a seat leon (07) a nice reasonable price would be great if anyone knows it.

    Some insurance (possibly home insurance) policies cover this I think.

    have you a spare key to copy? if not its dealer only afaik. they will cut the key from your vin number

    I think some indies can do it, mr locksmith or something

    Although locksmith.ie says contact dealer if newer than 05

    I remember my local locksmith telling me he could code a key to the immobilizer if you lost all your keys but you would have to either get new door locks/ignition or get a blade from the main dealer. This was about 3-4 years ago, maybe they have a way of cutting the banks now
