How to remove Paint from Leather Sofa

Painted skirting boards last week (oil based paint- white): took a break: sat on the sofa: there must have been paint on my backside (pure awkwardness): now I have a paint stain on the sofa.

Any ideas how I might take it off, without damaging the leather ? (or failing that, inflicting as little damage as possible on the leather).

    The leather is dark blue.

    Advice appreciated. Thanks.

Yes they should do,its best to get a couple in your hand and squeeze them to get them foamed up then wipe on and leave for a few mins then get fresh ones and give the paint a gentle scrub.

I read recently that extra virgin olive oil will remove paint off leather.

I saw passing a spar today they have it for €2 at the moment.

I will be trying it soon and will let you know how it goes.

I have tried those wipes posted above and dont find them great.
Ok for get wet paint off things but dried in gloss will be hard.

Let us know how you get on if you try the wipes.
