I've been playing guitar for about 4 years now and want to learn tenor banjo. I've tried playing my mates' and love it but have no clue which one to go for. I seen a few on waltons but don't know if they're any good. My budget is E300. So can someone point me in the right direction, thanks.

I would say give Clareen banjos a call and see if you can stretch your budget by a few hundred and get a 2nd hand one.......?

    Just jumping inon this

I'm looking to buy a tenor banjo and have seen clareen do a package for a basic the bridge banjo inc accessories for circa €340. I'm only learning and had a loan of a tenor recently to see what I thought of it and would like to put some more time into it but wondering is there anywhere else I could pick up a tenor for cheaper just invade it becomes an ornament and I don't pick it up :)
