Tibet in September

    Hi

Im going to China in September and I'd love to take in Tibet while im there.

I know you need to have a tour organised in order to receive your permit. I had 7 days set aside for it and ideally I'd like to go the the Everest base camp.

Has anyone ever used a tour company in Tibet that they would reccommend? I will probably be leaving for Tibet from Chengdu but that may change.

    Thanks

Hey, not sure if you heard of the new regulations with tibet visa but you now need 4 people of the same nationality on the same tour.. were a group of two and looking for Irish people to come on a tour with us or vice versa in September so we can see Tibet.. we'll be coming from the china side as well so if you interested in joining us would be great. At the moment we are looking at a tour with trailfinders, and another one with sayit, but we defiantly be up for any good tour if it means we get to see tibet and preferable see Base camp.

Hey, are your dates set in stone? And will u be in China for long beforehand? I'm taking the transsib in Sept and will probably be in Beijing on 1st Oct. The visa situation for Tibet seems to change weekly so I was thinking about looking into it closer to the time - would be interested in making up a group if the dates were right?

Hi guys. Regulations now require 5 people unfortunately.

There are 3 of us at the moment hoping to get from Beijing to Tibet on 19 July. Anyone's dates flexible?
