    Hi

just wondering if anyone here can help or has had similar experiences

I will be getting into Dublin airport in the very early hours (4am ish, after a long flight) and need a place to sleep for a few hours, 5 or 6, before starting a 5 + hour drive down the country.

Does anyone know if any airport hotels carter for such short. yet essential, stays ?

    Thanks

    Try the Carlton Dublin Airport.

I'd say they all would, and charge you accordingly for a one night stay. Bear in mind some of their shuttle buses may not run all night so it's worth checking this before booking what may seem the cheapest option.

From my experience, I would contact the 'non-chain' hotels and haggle them, they seem to be more flexible that the more corporate ones

Holiday inn express a mile or two from the airport seems to cater for this service called a day let room.

I stayed there before and it's a nice hotel at a very reasonable price. The free shuttle only starts at 5.15 but it's only a short taxi journey of you don't want to wait.
