Thinking of purchasing a mac mini

What are they like for photo editing and video editing ?

I'm using a 4 year old MacBook white basic which is running very badly at the moment

I recommend at least 4GB of SDRAM, a large internal drive, plus two large external drives for storing files and for backups.

    You'll need a decent monitor.

Id say at least 8GB for photo/Video editing, but you could also purchase the RAM separate from crucial or somewhere and fit it yourself, pretty easy on Mac Mini.

If you already have screen etc, mac mini is not a bad option, id say it might be no harm in going for version with discrete graphics either as I think Final Cut etc would make better use out of that

I go t8GB of RAM from Crucial for mine for less than €100. Video editing is fine on it.
