Just downloaded the Dynolicious app for the iPhone and it's looking for the stats on the car before using it properly. Anybody know what would be a typical value for drivetrain loss in 08 Mondeo 2.0 tdci?

    Manual or auto?

There's a 15% figure often bandied about for manual drivetrain loss, but It could well be higher.

An iPhone app won't really give you anything more than entertainment value

It's manual, sorry, should've included that.

Ya it might be entertainment but just want to see how close it is to stated figures. Reviews of the program actually say its very accurate, to within just a few percent so I think it's worth a shot.

Dynolicious is good for comParative stuff

It won't give you a hard figure but it will show increases and decreases
