    Hi

Im having a problem with my speedo. It usually works perfectly around town and on short journeys. But when im travelling on the motorway it stops working. Sometimes it will work intermittently and sometimes it wont start working again until I turn off the engine and start again. So im travelling with the speedo reading 0. If anyone has any experience of this would it be likely to be expensive to fix???

lol its a 99 and the first problem I've had with it in 6 years it has never broken down. There has never been any mechanical problems like. That's why the speedo thing is so annoying.

Cool same year!! :) maybe some sort of loose connection or more then likely not if its okay when restarted. Happened in another car after clutch was changed, speedo used to work when it wanted to... Loose connection , reconnected then grand.... Could be completely wrong of course
