Does anyone know if there's a bluetooth sat nav available that allows u to stream music from your iphone as well as make calls etc. I was hoping to be able to plug it in to the aux input on my car stereo.

A headunit that does all that would probably be a better option

Yah I was thinking about that but I was hoping to get a mobile one so that I could use it in my girlfriends car. Guess I'm just looking for something that doesn't exist.

I doubt any mobile device would give decent sound

Why bother, you literally would be sick of here the crappy sound out of a 3/5watt sat naz speaker, when honestly you'd getter as good a sound on loud speaker from your phone.

Spend the money on a dual purpose system, with all combined, 2nd hand maybe but honestly steer away from non branded crap imported, you might save a lot, but if something goes wrong you'll be paying the same shipping it back as JVC or kenwood.

He was talking about hooking the GPS up to the aux-in port of the car and streaming music via it.

OP, you're just as well off getting the TomTom app and cradle for your iPhone and get everything done in the one portable package.

Yah that looks like the best option alright. Thanks for that.

How does the music come through the speakers? It also doesn't act as car kit does it?
