Hi I took some photos over a period of a few months, I took card into kiosk for developing and it said "no images available". I had checked photos on camera before I went in and they were there. I have tried to bring them up on computer and there are about 6 photos on card, the rest just have the coloured icon and when you click on it it says no images. I know for certain that they weren't deleted, is there anyway of them being restored. When I check on camera they come up as if the pixels are all jumbled up, just a mismash of colours.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rather than accessing by putting the card in the comp, can you connect the camera to the comp via usb and access them that way?

Maybe try an 'undelete' utility such as

DO NOT take any photos on the card!

Are you good with a PC? Do you know what the recovery programes above are and how they work?

Maybe you shot them in RAW and the photo kiosk doesn't "see" the files.

Hi Tallon, yeah I am fine using computers. Have read the instructions on how to do this, haven't done it yet, hopefully will get around to it tonight. Is there anything I should look out for in particular? Thanks.

What does RAW mean, kiosk and computer not seeing them, but the icon is there....

Cool, yeah it's straight forward? Just if they were deleted, taking more photos would be a bad idea

As for raw, raw is an unedited, uncompressed version of a picture. Onlybcertain pc's can read them (and cameras)

Your computer should still see the file, it just might not be able to view it

Can you plug in the camera and copy all th files to the the pc. What file type does it say they are?
