Flat trail for basic mountain bike

Just got a cheap mountain bike and looking for ideas of places to take it. It has 80mm 'travel' front suspension and no travel on the back. I'm not looking for downhill,just simple forest trails. Somewhere within an hour of dubland. Any ideas appreciated

Ticknock is also an option, there's a few jumps here:

I suggest you take it easy until you get comfortable with the course & build up your technique & confidence.

A lap or three 'round the perimeter of the Phoenix Park is a decent stretch of an evening. You'll get a good feel for the bike over the roots and it'll give you a bit of confidence on the thing.
