Quick question not sure if its a simple answer or what is possible but we will be campervanning it from Paris to Poland for the Euros, travel arrangments mean we wont get to watch some games but want to be able to listen to them while driving in Europe. Anyone know of any English speaking stations that we could catch the games on?

I'd guess British Forces Radio, who broadcast throughout Germany and beyond, might be covering the games.

they only broadcast in the locality of british bases though so outside the "british zone" (i.e. all of east germany in particular) you wont get any coverage.

if you have a portable dvb-t receiver you could even watch the games as you drive across germany so long as you dont go over 130kmh (at least that was the limitation I see on one I was considering buying for the kids)

mobile internet could also be an option if you can afford the roaming charges or have a good deal BUT you can almost be guaranteed that bbc 5 live will be geo blocked.

you are going to have to have breaks now and again for food/ toilet/ stretch the legs so why not just time your stops to catch the 2nd half of any games you otherwise would miss? That way you get the most important part of a game without staying static for too long.

Why not get a recording of the last one and play it over again? It'll be all the same overhyped sh1te anyway.

I heard it metioned on the rte radio 2 wireless transmission today that they will be broadcasting all the Irish games. So Dave fanning will get a few days off then, which is nice.
