Like if you get a c or a b on an average test, would it be possible for me to get a few a's if I crammed the week before?

It would depend on how smart you are.

I crammed two weeks prior to the Leaving and managed 450 points. It really depends on how good you are at retaining and regurgitating the information.

I would suggest though that you try to study properly first. If that doesn't work: cram. And if THAT doesn't work, f-ck it, it's only the Junior Cert. :D

At the very least, you're guaranteed an A in CSPE?

This is absolutely not true, though every year there is someone who thinks it is.
    The percentages getting A in CSPE for the last three years were 2009 - 23.4%, 2010 - 23.2% and 2011 - 20.2%.
Unless your Maths is very odd, that's not anyone being guaranteed an A.

What is guaranteed however, is that you will do a lot better overall than you think. The whole Junior Cert. exam is designed for you to do well.

Make sure to answer all the questions you are supposed to, together with the right combinations of sections.

Depends how well you remember the courses.

Also, as Spurious said, there's no guarantee of getting a good result in any subject.

Is CSPE not mostly project based?think it was back when I did it.

(Well I didn't do a project so didn't bother sitting the exam!)

Yes 66.6% of their grade is for a project, but that doesn't mean they will get the full 66.6% on their projects. To tell you the truth most schools treat it as a minority subject, causing project work to suffer.

Take it from someone who did very well in his leaving cert and junior cert. If you do all your homework there's know need to study at all. However, this is not a good approach for Third Level which I'm just finding out now. I'm a lazy ba5tard.

The project is 60% I thought? Pretty sure it is that is what we were told :)
