Hi all, I'm looking for a bit of help here,

My media files, iTunes, photos & video are all stored on an external hard drive that is connected to my network via an AirPort extreme. Until recently my main computer was an iMac that was left on 24/7 so the drive was always connect. I have had to sell my iMac and am now using my MacBook as my main machine.

My problem is that every time the MacBook is closed the external drive connection is dropping and needs to be connected manually to access it.

I wondering is there any way that this would connect automatically when the MacBook wakes from sleep (restarted/cover opened). I'm guessing that if this is possible it will need some sort of script written. Unfortunately writing scripts is something I know nothing about. I've tried google for answers but no joy.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Snollup.
