    What do you guys think?

He's off touring for the summer at least. Do you think he'll come back full time afterwards?

Should he even come back? I'm a huge fan, but from interviews, twitter etc, he doesnt seem as enthusiastic about the business as he once was.

I always enjoy seeing him. I think a return to SD as a face could be a good thing for him.

Should he come back? A big resounding yes from me. The guy oozes charisma and is a main-event talent on a roster short of star attractions. Feel bad for him that he came second in the Rumble and has lost three or four WWE Championship matches in a row, but I have really enjoyed having him back this year. One of the few good things left about Raw is his presence.

WWE really need guys of his all-round quality presence on their roster right now.

Notice how since Jericho has been back, mini-Jericho (aka Miz) has been booked to do nothing of note in 2012. When the real-deal is in the locker room, why do you need the imitator? When Jericho is gone, Miz will probably get his second-wind.

You are not a huge fan enough to disregard any and every public statement from him in regards to his career, departures and debuts. :p

Erm? What is the point of this thread of course he is coming back the only question is when. Its not as if he is making Rock style money outside wwe or carrying a bad injury.

I first watched Chris Jericho on the WCW ppv video tapes that were released here in the late 90s. I was an instant fan :)

Problem for me is that Jericho got stale in WWE as time went by... and i'm talking years ago. I remember watching his stuff in WWE around 2002 and thinking to myself "this is nothing compared to WCW Jericho" ... (as in entertainment value, not in ability) Then more time went by... He just became so stale.

Be it a face or heel,Jericho has been rocking the same spiel since 1999 in WWE and nothing can last forever. Even Steve Austin dipped in the latter run in WWE its said. Not to mention from watching various interviews (outside of wrestling) Jericho comes off as a very egomaniac type of individual.

But all the above is crap I guess. If Jericho can make a hefty paycheck from WWE. Why shouldnt he.

As a fan of course I'd love to see him stay. If I were him however I wouldn't dream of it! He has the means to live outside of wrestling with his music career. He's achieved everything he wanted to in wrestling and has become an icon, at 40 something years of age now its time to move on and not tarnish a legacy.

Yes but not as a face, Jericho is only good as the in your face talkative heel. him and Christian as a tag team would be great too.

Will he? Probably. Should he? No.

People were bored of him before the Rumble even came around this time. That was what, three weeks? That has to be a record.

Jericho was at his best in the late 90's as the smartass, whiney heel who thought he was the best at everything. Look at his WCW and early WWF promos and you can see how much better he was. More entertaining and he seemed to be having a great time out there. Now he is as dull as can be and often times seems to be going through the motions. His uber serious heel act gets old very quickly and WWE only do one type of baby face these days, a type that doesn't suit him.

Can't see his next run going any better than this one has, as I doubt he'll go back to what he was good at.

    I lol'd:
WWE star Chris Jericho told the UK Sun that fans were looking too deep into his reintroduction videos. "They were looking too deep into it — WAY too deep," Jericho said. "It was just supposed to be a creepy thing. My idea was that it was the Mayan calendar in 2012 saying it’s the end of the world and I was going back and it’s the ‘end of the world as you know it.’

"That means that if one day you are walking down the street and you find a dog, and then the dog lives in your house, then it's the ‘end of the world as you know it.’ It’s the end of the way that you used to live and it’s a new world.

"The girl we just put in because she was creepy looking. There was never supposed to be a girl coming in with me — there wasn’t a change of plan. It was exactly what it was intended to be — a cryptic little cool thing that led to me coming back and doing what I did."

Jericho also revealed who came up with the idea of him not talking during his initial appearances. "That part was Vince’s (McMahon) idea," Jericho said. "He was the one that suggested that and I thought it was great. I like to do something different that people don’t expect. That’s what I’ve always been about, in everything I do." Another tick on the "disappointing return" side of the ledger.

"because it's creepy" sounds like a catch-all response to whenever something doesn't make sense. It's like Xena on the simpsons saying saying "whenever you notice something like that, a wizard did it"

Chris Jericho has been suspended indefinitely due to an irresponsible act of denigrating the Brazilian flag at a WWE live event in São Paulo on May 24. WWE has apologized to the citizens and the government of Brazil for this incident.

    http://www.wwe.com/inside/jericho-brazil

    An earlier Wrestling Observer report:
We've gotten sketchy reports out of Brazil regarding Chris Jericho taking the Brazilian flag from C.M. Punk to get heat and stepping on it, which I guess in that culture, wasn't looked highly on. The story going around is that he was almost arrested and was rushed to the airport to get out of the country into Ecuador.

We'll have more when it is available.
