Schools in cork suitable for autistic children

Hi, My son who is on the autistic spectrum is due to go to national school in September 2013. I am looking for any advice on national schools in cork city. which ones are better able to cater for kids with Asd. it would be great if anyone who has being in a similar situation would share their experience. Not sure if u have had success with ur search. We had dealings with Rushbrooke in Cobh and they were fantastic to deal with. our son is going mainstream so we didn't follow up on offer. What part of the county do u live in.
