    Hello ,
I live in a nice, clean, value for money bedsit, with an excellent landlord, I could not ask for better as far as bedsits and landlords are concerned. I have never had luck living with other people and the bedsit suits me.
I am unemployed, hoping to return to education later in the year and I am at a loose end in terms of having anything to do in the city , spending rent money that I could probably save. My landlord wants to rent the place , not leave it lying. I despise the thought of searching for somewhere as good again. On the other hand if I move to my home, I also have not anything to do , the place depresses me but I would be saving some money. I am on the dole so have to return home weekly to collect the money anyway.
I'm confused over what to do , it is not a big problem but I would like some opinions!

    Heya,

I have been stuck in 'ruts' like this previously ... they can sometimes seem like neverending cycles. Try to look at it as just that - i.e. a cycle, but one that must be broken. The way out of this 'rut' is change.

You are clearly not happy with the status quo - i.e. to leave things as they are - but try to see the next step that you make as positive. It doesn't have to be gloomy; instead it can be positive. If going home to live is the best for now, then so-be-it. Work out how much you could save and then think about your next move.

Life doesn't have to be lived in the same order as everyone else. We can move here and there - and everyehere - until we get everything right and comfortable.

    Take care
    Kevin

Id stay there if you are happy there. Keep your head happy... If you go home you may save a few euro but at what cost?

No, stay put, you are going to go back into education so look forward to that. Its impirtant to have a place to stay that you like

Why do you have to return home weekly to collect your dole, why not update to your current address?
Re where you are living, how long would you be moving home for? Could you potentially suggest to the landlord that you would let the room short term to someone else?
