I was over in my friends house early this morning and I had a shave. I was finishing cleaning up my tools and I took my blade out and left it on sink to dry and walked off to watch T.V. with him

After 1 hr i heard screams from the bathroom and I ran down to find blood everywhere his 3 year daughter had cut her hand and she was crying with my blade i left drying....his wife had to bring her to hospital

Now my friend is pissed off with me ..just because his daughter could not keep her hands to her self:mad:

So a warning to everyone ...dont leave blades near children

What kind of a blade are we talking? Not the childs fault if the handle of a cut-throat was dangling over the side of the sink! Bring that child a nice new soft toy and some icecream quick.
Hope she gets better soon. This could have ended a lot worse

Just a single double edged astra blade. I open my tools up and leave them out to dry along with my badger brush and mixing bowl when I finish

Yeah she has a few deep cuts and had to get 12 stiches between both hands

You honestly wonder why your friend was upset?

Why were you shaving in your friends house?

What eh, area, were you shaving? Might make a difference if the child has to fight an STD now aswell. Not saying you have any, just saying in general.

You can hardly blame a 3 year old for touching a shiny looking piece of metal. How was she meant to know it was razor sharp? Even some adults would underestimate how dangerous it is to handle a razor by the blade.

Contrary to what you seem to think, that's common sense. Something you seemed to lack by leaving a blade in a place accessible to a 3 year old.

You honestly see no problem with a really sharp safety blade left to dry in an area with young children !!!!!!!!
I use these blades to shave too but i wouldnt leave them lying around to dry if others would be using the room , they are simply too sharp and dangerous.

Even a adult could slice their finger open if they picked it up to move it.

Really?! Wow.. I'm not surprised your friend is pissed! Not only is his child injured but you have an attitude like this about it!
