I was wondering could somebody help me with this.

I'm one of the crew for Joe Barr who is taking part in this years Race Across America Ultra Marathon Cycle Race.

We will be using Garmin 800's with the preloaded route in gpx track form.

The crew in the follow vehicle are responsible for naviagation.

As the screen on the 800 is quite small i was wondering is there some way of hooking this upto a netbook which could be mounted on the dashboard.

Basically it would have to display the map, the track and current position.

Garmin seemed to have software for this but it appears to be discontinued.

    Anybody have any ideas?
