The "Can't connect to minecraft.net" thread

    I was having a quick look at all the topics here and to my surprise I couldn't find any that dealt with connection problems, (I know they are there somewhere, like I said a "Quick look"). Connection problems usually happen just before an update goes out, or when Jeb spills his coffee on the main server. Either way in here we can check if everybody else is experiencing the same thing, and what they're doing to pass the time.

    Here's a server status website, but I haven't found it very accurate.

    Right now {12:26 GMT Saturday 19th May 2012} I can't connect. I'm hopeful it's 1.3 coming out but can't be sure. Can someone check it out and let me know if you can't connect also.

    Thanks for checking. Now I'm just confused and annoyed that I can't connect for no reason.
