Do you have any farmers near by or know any farmers? They can always use a few more tires for covering their silage pits!

Bring them to your local dump. They'll recycle them for you.

Throw an add up on adverts. Put them as a freebie and have them as collection only. Some people will take old tyres for all sorts of things. Farmers or gardeners etc.

I don't know if a dump will take them off you for free. I'd imagine you'd have to pay them to get in. I could be wrong but isn't it only the likes of fridges that can be brought into the dumps for free?

If you just want rid of them then drop them at your local tyre centre. I think they only charge around €2 per tyre for disposal.

well, garage in coolmine wanted 5 euro for each, first ill try find where i can drop for free, than ill try find cheapest place to dispose. wont act as as**ole by dumping them in ditch, as i am honest person, wont damage nature . ;)

the garage wasnt ripping ya off. all old tyres have to be recycled by law and the tyre dealers have to pay for this to be done. €5 might be a bit vsteeo though its usually only bout €3 per tyre. dont be irresponsnsible and dump them illegally

    Tyres or (alloys + tyres)?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,352 ✭✭✭Mar4ix

old tyres, no wheels, wouldnt put them back on road, as they are badly worn. no much thread left. you can see 4 of them on toyota wheels in my adverts still on wheels, today took them off wheels. havent decided yet what to do with those wheels.

    Located in Blanchardstown.

Its approx 1.50-2.50 depending on the size of the tyre, i.e car/van/4x4 etc

    WAIT WAIT

Local county council civic amenity center will take a full car load from €2, which includes tyres.

This is for personal use only!

    This is my local one:
