    Saturday Indo sellin in 'Norn Iron' for £1.30 (€1.60), here €2.25, taxes ? Rip-off ? - one 'story' you won't find in Indo Consumer section :D

    Vat 9% here on papers 0% in NI. Also most news in the paper is from republic, so cost of journalism can be discounted and only real extra cost is the printing / distribution cost and the higher sales figures drive higher advertising rates which subsidise the real cost of papers.
