Rear lights not working

Hi I have a 00 220 mecr cdi all the lights front and rear including brake lights work but not the tail lights.No fuses are blown, any suggestions?

They are normally checked before fuses wiring etc,

Could be the bulb holders at fault. Might be corrosion or moisture getting at them.
